Data and Privacy

Data Collection:

We respect your privacy and information, and are committed to protecting you as an individual to maintain your trust. Below, we have provided--to the best of our knowledge and ability--a list of what you can expect from conversing with Jonas. If any of your questions or concerns are not answered here, feel free to e-mail us at jonas.assessment@gmail.com and we will respond in a timely manner.

We collect:

Patient IDs to identify patient responses and match them to their records in a provider’s electronic health records
Responses to our survey questions

We do not collect:

Name, contact information, IP addresses, location, or any personally identifiable data
Any pre-existing or new medical conditions/information regarding the patient

Usage of Data:

Survey responses are analyzed by our model to predict vaccine hesitancy reasons and may be viewed by the doctor.

In this development phase, we may use survey responses to better understand weak points of the model behind Jonas and improve our performance.

Data Sharing:

For demonstration purposes, we have provided access to a sample Provider Portal on this site, which will allow users who are testing the product to view current and previous chats and model classifications.

Please note: Your transcript and model classifications, although not connected with real personal identifiable information, will live within our Provider Portal for a period of time. Anything you write will be accessible to our team as well as other users who are testing the Provider Portal through our site, so we encourage you to refrain from writing personal details.

In a production setting, data from Jonas (model results, chat data, etc.) would only be shared by interfacing with a provider’s electronic health records system with patient consent.

Additionally, only medical providers are able to view electronic health records and personal patient information at any time. The Jonas team does not and will not view any sensitive medical information that is meant for medical providers only.

Data Access, Update, and Deletion:

You may contact us at any time if you would like access, update, or delete your data in our system as jonas.assessment@gmail.com

Data Security:

Our team utilizes the following for Jonas:

Google Cloud Platform for our data pipeline, which is HIPAA compliant.
Flow XO for our Survey Bot Interface, which you may view their privacy policy
Salesforce Lightning for our provider interface, which you may view their privacy policy.
